Seth is the Clinical Director of our Mesa office. He is an ABC Certified Prosthetist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (FAAOP). This elite status is attained by those with a demonstrated commitment to mastering their profession through sustained educational pursuits and a proven track record of service to both their community and the O&P profession. Seth also has the unique ability to relate with many of his patients’ challenges. After a battle with cancer resulted in a below-knee amputation, Seth decided to embark on a career change into patient care. He is passionate about assisting amputees in exceeding expectations – including their own. Growing up in Tucson, he received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Arizona before completing his graduate prosthetics program at California State University Dominguez Hills. He completed his residency in San Antonio, TX where he specialized in active vacuum, acute care and pediatric prosthetics. Seth holds certifications in a number of advanced prosthetic technologies including Harmony, One and Unity vacuum systems; C-Leg4, X3, Genium, LINX, Power Knee and Symbionic Leg microprocessor knees; Kinnex, Elan and Biom microprocessor feet; and the Helix hip. An avid sports fan, Seth has competed at the national Extremity Games in Texas and numerous triathlons across the country. Seth is adjunct faculty at Franklin-Pierce University and teaches at AT Stills University as well, focusing on prosthetic rehabilitation for the physical therapy departments. Recently, Seth has lectured at the 40th Annual Symposium of Sports Medicine in San Antonio, Texas, the 2014 American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists National Conference, and the 2015 Amputee Coalition National Conference in Tucson, AZ. He also provides peer support to amputees and individuals considering amputation across the country and is certified by the Amputee Coalition of America to do so.
